Helping People Find Their Own Way

Our projects help your members find their own voice by using a series of expertly crafted interviews to get people thinking about what they’ve been through and help them articulate what they’ve learned from those experiences. Most users say that participating in our interviews is not only incredibly cathartic, it’s emotionally powerful.

Many of our interviews are designed to explore a particular condition (such as mental illness or addiction) by walking the user through the experience from the start where the condition first began to the finish where it either reached a conclusion or came under control. We refer to these as life-cycle interviews.

Our interviews have been designed to put users in control of their own process of discovery. Each participant picks the topics and questions they will talk about, and, if they talk to others, they select who they talk to. To make interviews practical and relevant we focus on two central themes: 1) What happened to you, and 2) What did you learn from it? The project interview is our most important tool because you can’t get helpful answers (by the way, there are no right or wrong answers) if you don’t ask the right questions.

We assembled a team of over 50 experts from psychology, education, theology, anthropology, medicine, science, business, law, government, the arts, communications, and other disciplines to create these interviews. They spent over 26,000 hours drafting and compiling questions that span the human experience from cradle to grave. These questions cover over 160 topics, number more than 6,000, and contain more than 8,000 prompts to jog your memory.

The big difference between Wisdom Legacy and other websites is that we don’t give you the same old answers from self-proclaimed experts. We give you the questions a real expert would ask so you can quickly find the answers yourself. If you’ve never experienced the difference, take it from our members, it is profound!
